    341 We don't know.  As of now (April 30, 2008), Facebook does not expose an IM protocol to the outside world.  Until it does, we cannot even look into whether or not Pidgin will or should support their service.  Please see [http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=713 their help page] for more information.  With any luck, they will choose to expose an XMPP service.
     341Facebook is workin on exposing an XMPP interface to the world. (See: [http://developers.facebook.com/news.php?blog=1&story=110]) When that's done, Pidgin will support Facebook Chat just like any other XMPP service.
